ABOUT JACK LEDFORD:

I was born and raised in the Hill Country of Texas. I graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1975 and proceeded to get my Business degree in Accounting and Computer Science from Durham Business College in Austin, TX. I am married, have children and belong to the Masonic Lodge in Fredericksburg.

Real Estate license from Texas State University in San Marcos.

While this web site appears to be all about me, it is here to give you some information to decide if you want to contact me. Once you do, everything will then become all about YOU . . . what you have in mind, your rules, your budget, your satisfaction.

WORK BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:

From 1978 - 1986 I worked in the banking industry. During that span I worked for the American Bank in Austin, MCorp, Affiliated Computer Systems, MTech, and EDS. After working for the banking industry I decided to expand my horizons and open some of my own businesses.

I opened Austin Front Wheel Drive in 1986, in which I rebuilt car axles. Then in 1999 I bought the Shade Shop in Austin, TX, which is a window tinting, stereo and alarm business.

For over 30 years I have been a rancher so I know what to look for when it comes to using land for agricultural use.

Working in all these different areas has given me the benefit to know what to look for when wanting to purchase property.

WHO I AM:

I am an expert in Gillespie County (and surrounding area) ranch land and also residential properties out in the county.

I operate as a franchise of US Land and Home Real Estate (www.farmandhomerealty.com). In this partnership I work closely with my colleagues there for coverage of other residential and commercial properties and administrative support. Our TREC number is 0302788 (Mark Prehn, Broker).

Member of the Gillespie County Board of Realtors (www.gillespieboardofrealtors.com) and participate in MLS and the Texas Association of Realtors (www.texasrealtors.com and www.texasrealestate.com)

HOW I DO BUSINESS:

I do business the old fashion way. I base our business on trust, loyalty and honesty. Where a hand shake means something. Customer satisfaction, referrals, and repeat customers is my mode of operation. Word of mouth drives my business.
